it's new year! heh. quite in a new year mood now after watching the new year show on channel 8. the fireworks on tv cant be compared to the ones right above your heads. the difference is just so huge and the feeling, needless to say is worlds apart!

there's fireworks every night till the 15th of the new year at esplanade at 9pm. go watch it with your loved ones or friends if you got the time. the fireworks might not be tt long, roughly 3 mins since it's like for 15 and more days, but it's worth it travelling down cos the sight is really beautiful and splendid. what's more it's not every year they put fireworks for 17 straight days including eve of eve of new year and the eve of new year! so go enjoy the sight :)

anyway watching the programme on tv reminded me of chinatown, which in turn reminded me that i went chinatown last year with chris, his mum and sis for shopping. it's the first day of new year and i rmbered him coming over to my granny's place, joining us for ktv and bowling with my cousin and sister till like 3am. at that time, we were only tgther for 4 months plus but it seemed like we were together for so long, and and, it was the first time i brought my boy to meet my grannies.

wont be bringing my boy to meet my grannies this year cos he's not in singapore! awwww. he's out drinking with his friends now but he still smsed me happy new year! heh. so sweet eh. bleahs. he will only be back on thursday, and thursday seems so damn far away! i really cant wait for thursday, when we meet again and see each other faces and burst into laughters! i'm gonna give him a big big hug! and i want to see the expression on his face when i give him a gift! heh.

i decided to give him something since he isnt in singapore, and i do hope he will love it. it's not bought lah! i'm DIY-ing it! haha, i know he will cos he told me once that anything i give him, as long as it's from me, he'll love it!

sometimes i just laugh at his sms. just so sweeeet! =D
i'm a happy little girl!

though i didnt manage to spend christmas or welcoming the new year with him, when i was telling people around me that that it's bad not having a bf during these special occassions, cos seeing couples tgther will make you "jealous" or think of your unhappy past, i'm glad we are together now after what we went through because, this way, as he puts it, we will treasure each other more. now is the honeymoon period, but we are apart, and have only spent a day tgther, but it's gonna make the bond stronger, because the days ahead are dim. given our working schedule, perhaps we can only meet once or twice a week, and these are gonna make us cherish whatever little time we spend with each other :)

whatever it is, i'm just happy.
he may not be what i'm seeking for, he may not be perfect, but i heart him all the same cos, he makes me smile each time i see him, he makes my heart pong pong tiao!
