Listening to familiar music that was always played at the rooftop back at esplanade, i couldnt help but smile :)

The music that everyone dreaded cos we were listening to it all the time, repeatedly. I believe we played that cd up to 10 times during dinner service. It was always jumping from tune to tune, and that irritated us even more. Haha, and we were smart, because when we had the opportunity to get rid of it, even if it was just for a day, we made use of this chance and suggested playing love songs instead of that cd on valentine's day. But then, the cd we burned refused to play on that day and we had to listen to the dreaded spanish music yet again. Haha, just thinking how disappointed we were makes me laugh.

But when i heard it at the moment, i just smiled. How things that we disliked have turned into things that we are missing and treasuring now. Listening to the music in my room, i can feel myself at the rooftop of esplanade. Scenes of busy evenings, with the dimly lit lights and candles on the tables, so busy that we couldnt even visit the toliets to pee, were so vividly on my mind.

I can feel us rushing to the indoor to get the wines from the fridge, rushing with the wine buckets to serve the wine to the customers, or standing at the bar waiting for roza to make our drinks, hiding at the stewarding area to have our favourite spag arragosta and pizzas, and how we pumped one whole jug of pepsi and drinked using coffee cups cos of the new rules. Haha. We were hilarious but good workers! Months leaving esplanade, the feeling and the memories still stay.

Thanks ERIKA NEO for the songs and your weird funny voices, haha! You're still the same, and hearing your "wah lau eh" definately made me laugh! You still need to improve to get rid of the ang moh slang lah! Nevertheless, you're missed!

And VIKI CHUA for sharing and listening to each other's problems :)
Have enough rest, you're always caring so much about others, in turn tiring yourself. You're a good listener, and rmber if he's not around to accompany you, you still have me!

Like what we agreed on, WE were the best batch of part timers at Al Dente Esplanade! :)
Nothing is going to change that. And i'm really glad i'm part of this group of people.

Organising a meet up cum dinner on 20th July, Thursday in the evening.
Venue and time is yet to be confirmed because we need your schedules as well. But then, erika, viki and myself hope that everyone will try to take off and make it for this day. We havent met up and had dinner tgther since christmas eve eh. Do sms or drop a tag if you've any enquries :)
