Vincent called just now but i wasnt free to talk, and then i received a sms from him telling me he's leaving singapore next sunday for thailand. It surprised me, i was taken aback. It has came true. I rmber us talking about it back then in december last year and now, it's almost september. I still told myself that it's still far back then, and look how fast time has passed.
I'm upset that he's leaving singapore. He isnt going there for holidays or for his retreat or any other reasons. He's going there to work. For how long, i dont know. He once asked me not to ask him this question should this day come, either cos it's too long or cos he doesnt even know how long he's gonna be there. Despite me wanting to know how long he's going to be away, i think i shouldnt be asking. Sighs.
This guy is leaving. The thought of it makes me want to tear. The bond we share, is so much more than just normal friends, more than a brother, yet it's a line below couples. It's a relationship where words itself cant explain, and probably only me and him knows.
It's weird how we have always kept in contact since last december when we ended. We ended on good terms, we ended cos we knew we wouldnt make it that far even though we were fond of each other then, and we became even better than best friends. But since then, we havent met up, just calls and smses. So in fact, we havent met for 9 months, but just with these calls and smses, we've came a long way, and this friendship is one of a kind, one which i have never had, one which i will never let go.
He's the one whom i can call in the middle of the night, talk about anything, and he never fails to know how i feel even without opening my mouth. He just makes me feel very protected because he's always wanting to protect me, and i know i can count on him on anything.
He's the one who always tell me about his job happenings, and whenever he changes job, i'm always the first to know. He'd always call me on way to his interview and i rmbered when i was working once, i even stopped work to talk for almost an hour with him. Haha. He's always saying he is going to turn gay, always wanting to meet me yet i dont have the time. He just makes me feel he treasures me, whether it's cos he likes me or cos of any other reasons, it doesnt matter to me cos i know he matters as much to me as i am to him.
Sighs. I dont even know if i can meet him one more time before he leaves. Probably not. But i'm certain he will mms me his picture before he leaves, just like he did the other time :)
With all due respect, this post is dedicated to him.
You may never see this, but you do know that you're important to me. We've came a long way, and you've always been there for me. You taught me lots of things, lots of valuable lessons, and you definately have brought lots of lovely memories into my life. The walk home and the nonsensical stuffs, and coming all the way to esplande to take a short bus journey with me, all these and more, will always be kept in my heart. You've really taken lots of care of me, showered me with lots of your concern and love, and i really appreciate it. Your favourite phrase, "zhe me ban" and my reply to your question will always be "pi gu qie liang ban" will always be our line okay, haha. There are much more i want to say, but i guess, asking you to take care of yourself is more important now :) Dont turn gay when you reach thailand, because i know, there will be someone who knows how to appreciate you more than i do :) And though it's cheaper to smoke there, please take care of your health. One packet a day in sg doesnt means two in thailand, please watch your smoking habits! With lots of love, do take care vin.**Woke up this morning feel damn irritated and disappointed cos baby cant go for dimsum anymore. He told his mum he'd be home for dinner and she cooked his favourite dish, and thus, i cant drag him out and disappoint his mum. Was feeling so down cos i wanted to eat dimsum so badly lah!
But he made me feel better, trying to cheer me up with plans on monday, even offering to meet me but on condition that we be back at 7pm for dinner. But i just didnt want to lah, cos i was already feeling damn low and didnt feel like doing anything! And baby told me he doesnt know why, but nowadays he finds it hard to disappoint me. Haha, i smiled at that sms :)
So we met at westmall after smsing for an hour, had a mini quarrel, or maybe not, cos that isnt a quarrel? I dont know. Haha. Went to sportslink cos he wanted to find nike tees, but i saw one jersey that i liked and i jokingly told baby to buy it for me. And meanie him said he'd if there isnt size for the tee he likes, and haha! There wasnt size for it!
So i went to tried and baby said it was nice, and so, he bought it for me! :)
I think it's not nice becos i'm wearing it, but cos he has a fetish for girls in jerseys lah! It's like guys like girls in jerseys and some like them in uniforms eh? Haha.
my first jersey from my jersey boy! :)
Actually baby tried on this jersey some time back, but it didnt look nice on him, haha. But he says he's gonna get one now that i have it! I shall buy it for him if pay come in and i see it at the shops! :)
So we had dinner at his place and the food was damn nice lah! I love his mummy's yong tau foo and the steamed fish! Nice nice nice! And after that, we all had the sudden urge to mahjong, and his mum and dad, plus both of us mahjong-ed.
I thought it was gonna be stressful lah cos his dad is like the ultimate, damn pro that kind. And his mum is that kind who always game with 5 tais lah. But in the end, i won 14 bucks! 1 person win 3 eh! Haha.
His dad lost the most, but he's really damn pro lah. Like when baby was waiting for cards, he knew it was ka long, and when i was waiting for cards, i was waiting for yan jing, and he knew it too! He's just one word lah, ultimate. He's on par with roy tan lah.
His mum was damn cute, singing and speaking in english. And she doesnt really knows how to, so it was quite hilarious. I kept laughing and laughing, until when i was supposed to pong my bei feng i forgot! I didnt even realise that there were 2 beis on the table lah, cos when his mum threw her bei, she was singing "who let the dogs out!" I just went omg lah. Haha, and when his mum goes omg, i really laughed like hell!
Tomorrow's mahjong day again! :)
Baby, thank you for the enjoyment you brought though our plans were ruined today. I think you've been too nice that i'm starting to take advantage of your good to me, hurhur.
But i'll try to be less wildful okay!
Loved the company of your family and you today!
And for the one sentence you said today, thank you.
I dont want to disappoint you too :)
