It's so true that parents are always right.
When they say we are still young, we dont know anything, we dont know what's best for us, and much as we hate them for making decisions for us, they just want the best for us.
Yet when we are young, we disobey them, thinking they just want to control us, control our lives. We do all sorts of things to make them angry, to push them to the limit.
As i grow older, i realised things that i used to do, thinkings i used to believe, that my stand and thoughts are right, they are no longer the things i'd choose to believe in, things i'd not want to do if i could turn back time.
Perhaps even after living 21 years on earth, having worked for 5 years, studied for my entire life, i still havent seen enough of the real life, the real society. And even another 10 yrs down the road, i believe i'd still be saying this same statement.
The things we face in life till date, new things will still be thrown to you.
Despite the amt of people we have already met in life, we will meet new people again.
The learning process just never ends.
Sometimes while doing some people-watching along the roads, i look at the youngsters, the poly and jc students and i do feel i've aged so much. That's at least 4 years of age difference. I feel time is passing by so fast, too fast for my liking.
I wonder if they know what they are doing, why are they doing such things.
Age isnt everything, yes i know.
It comes along with respect.
But sadly, in this life, age plays a part too.
Dont think you're old enough to do anything cos there's really so much more in life that you've not seen, that you havent been through. At least for youngsters like us.
The things i did when i was in my teens, i firmly stood by them then.
But looking back now, i cant use any words to describe them.
Even at 21, i dare say some thinkings which i have now, probably when i'm older, i'd change them in time to come. The older you get, the more matured you get i guess.
No matter how old you're, your parents love you.
I asked my dad to buy me dinner today, and he bought me packed rice.
It had fish, meat, vegetables and a packet of boiled soup.
And among all these ingredients and goodies, it was coupled with love.
And it's more than anything.
My sis just called from india, and without her home, it sure feels so much more silent. She has been away from home for 5 days now, and i didnt even give her a goodbye hug when she left. And i miss her seriously. It was nice hearing she's fine and well, and teaching art. Hurhur, i hope the kids dont fail their art, haha.
Family is the greatest gift god give to everyone.
No matter how old you are, which country you're born, god gives you a family at the time of birth, and that really is the best gift.
the strokes of guitar filled the air,
and you just mesmerised me with the tunes you play :)
