The 1st thing i stepped into office today, together with the rest of the 8am shift people, we were asked for briefing and the news came. Cluster A will be split up come march, split into cluster B and C. The news was expected, just that we all didnt expect it to come that soon.

I didnt feel much when i was informed of it, in fact, i only felt the weird feeling within only when i started to answer the calls. The feeling of lost, of abandon, of seperation.

Though it has only been 7 months or so in cluster A, the bond is there, it's existent. The kind of bond you cant find in the other clusters, this i'm sure of.

Cluster A people dont just come to work, login and answer calls, try to hit the KPIs. Admist all these, what people cant see is the care and concern we've for each other. For example, when one of us is on a dispute call with a customer, and we all know it because of the tone of the voice, we will all pause and look at her with a look that care. And after the call is ended, we'd all "discuss" about that irritating customer. Whenever there is vegeterian mee hoon, what i believe most of us in cluster A loves to eat, one "representative" will pack it up for all of us. The daily distributions of papers, the sharing of home cooked food, talking from shopping sales to manicures to family and friends to work and the list goes on.

We're the unique cluster.
Though we'll see still each other around in office, the feeling is just different.
And i know i'll miss the company.

We'll need to face new people, new management, new seating and what nots, though i know all these are just a matter of getting used, like how the seperation was for batchmates and i, but the feeling just dont feel good. Perhaps without my knowledge, this has become part of my mundane life.

I guess what we can all do now, is to treasure the remaining days.
And i guess, till then the only time we can catch up with will be when we take that short 3 mins shuttle bus ride.
