Sometimes all it takes is just some words to chase the worst away.

Here was what happened.
I was cabbing back from work and was damn hungry cos i havent had my dinner. Asked the cab driver to drop me at the coffeeshop while i get food, and cos i ordered western food, it took abt 5 mins before the food was ready. I was damn paisei to make tt cab driver wait tt long. And guess what he said when i boarded?

Taxi driver: Oh you went to get food? Havent eat ah?
Me: Uncle sorry ah, make you wait so long.
Taxi driver: It's okay lah. Fill your stomach more important. You all small kids nowadays eat dinner so late, no good lah. Next time eat before you work mah.

When he said that, it really touched me.
Other taxi drivers would have grumbled that i made him wait so long, yet this said it's more important to fill my stomach. Sounded so "daddy" to me.

Then cos i didnt want him to keep u-turn though it was the shorter route, i asked him to just go straight all the way, and he said shld have taken the shorter route.

Taxi driver: Just now should u-turn leh, shorter than cheaper for you mah. Haiyo now go one big round leh. Next time you go that way, know anot?

Wah lau, this taxi driver top class one loh!
So considerate! :)
I really want to write a compliment letter to him, but i forgot his name.
Boo.

And today calvin went to JB and he smsed me.

Him: Baby i got you smth from JB.
Me: What?
Him: A card filled with my love :)

Imagine how this made me smile so widely. Hee.
He actually bought a card and wrote a card for me!

After working some time in this line, i realised words are everything.
The simplest words can make you feel good, make you grin.
It can make you feel over the sky, and the next, pull you down to hell.

Like how a customer says you suck, what kind of customer service are you? And you can imagine how that caller looks over at the other end with steam out of the ears and nose. And cos these, cos of the attitude, it sometimes really makes my blood boil. And how another says you've been really helpful, and you can imagine him talking with a smile on his face, and you just smile back and say thank you.

Yeah, so i just realised how words are so impt in deciding our mood of the day.
Sad to say, out of 10 customers, only 2 will really appreciate your help, 1 will be neutral, and the rest feels it's just your job to assist them and gives you all sorts of attitude.

I'm so tired.
I'm really tired.
I'm dozing off as i'm typing this.
I wanna sleep.
